Whatupp bears? Well we had a crazy show last night. It was insane, so if you didn't hear about it beforehand, you will now. We played at this dive called OFF THE HOOK in campbell. The crowd was great since it was comprised of mostly bar flies. We had just won the crowd over and were about to finish our last song when we were kicked out. Yup kicked out!!! Apparently, according to the owner, "our kind of musicattracts trouble" particularly trouble with "the cops". Well, to be honest, we can't argue with that kind of logic, just like how we can't argue with those who call us dorks...we can just kill them.

Sup bears. This is Phat Phil of the phamous Rap$callionz posse. We've been laying low again, working on our new album, half-heartedly trying to get shows, y'know, the usual. Watch out for updates on this website, they'll be coming slowly over the next few weeks. There should be a bio for Gringo Starr, our newest member as well as maybe some new mp3s of our new songs. In the meantime you should all watch Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It is good!

12-02-02
Whaaddddupp ducks!! We got 3 shows coming up and we will have demos of our upcoming CD to give away at our next show on December 14th. We are playing with Nerf Herder and Ultimate Fakebook!!!! Check the shows page for more details. We're hoping to have our CD out by the new year, we'll keep ya posted G's.

11-24-02
Yo ducks. We're totally working on getting our new CD done, we are aiming for Dec. 14 as the release date, we'll see how that pans out. Our newest member Gringo Starr will be featured on the CD. THAT'S RIGHT. NEW MEMBER. The Rap$callionz now have a fifth rapper in the crew. Jason T. of the NCP will also be featured on the new album with us. It looks like it's gonna be a little different than some of our old stuff, but it's still gonna be totally radical. In other news we have 2 shows tentatively planned for December, the most definite one will be December 20th at the Gaslighter in Campbell. We'll get you more details as they come.

11-06-02
Good golly!!! We are all freakin' busy. I (PHIL) am currently procrastinating on a reading assignment for class tomorrow morning. We're all so busy with work, school, murder, grand larceny and general thuggishness, so not much has been done in Rap$callionz-land. But fear not intrepid fans! We are still working on releasing an EP sometime soon, hopefully by the new year. The EP will definitely have some new stuff that no one has ever heard, but it should also have some staples from our live shows such as "Boogie Nation" and "You Are Gonna Die". Word on the street is that a certain well known drummer from a certain well known band from the East Bay is going to play drums on one of our tracks... hmm... interesting, we'll see how this all pans out. I am totally rambling now. Peace out, mateys.

9-20-02
Yo. We are not dead. We are very much alive and more productive than ever. We're currently working on a million songs, some of them totally different than what you guys are probably expecting. We're also planning on doing a project with our friends in the NCP and we got 2 shows planned in the coming months, one in November, one in December. If you wanna give us a show just email us. We will play pretty much any show, with any type of band. I'm thinking of uploading an mp3 or something of one of our new songs just to keep your appetites whet, who knows when that'll happen... keep checking back here for more news. Peace out.

7-18-02
Check the shows page again! More shows. Err... I mean, one more show... along with the other one that was already there.

5-15-02

We performed "Mr. Grissom" live for the first time ever with some help from our buddy Andy and the nice fellows from 5606 who lent us their equipment. Check the shows page for info on our show this coming saturday, it's gonna be a crazy hip-hop/ska show so you don't wanna miss it.

Indeed.

As for shows, we tentatively have a show in late january/early february, but we don't really know any of the details about it. That's about it.

If you haven't heard already, our recording went kaput sometime shortly after we started because the recording equipment we we're using decided to drop dead on us.  Currently we are getting things set up to begin re-recording soon.  The first album may not feature Beat-Boy Brandon because he has moved down to UCLA for the school year, but our future releases will definitely feature him in a major role.  The Rapscallionz are also getting ready to cooperate with the Reaper and Cienfuegos on some tracks for a compilation to be put out by Phat 'n' Phunky Phonics in April or sometime around then.

7-5-00
Hey all of you suckas out there! Today we be recordin' at Phat 'n' Phunky Studios. We plan to record for the next few days non-stop, or maybe we'll take a few breaks here and there, but we'll get the recording done anyway. Check out the new "History" section which features the epic tale of how the Rapscallionz were formed.
