SunDogs (parhelion) is the name of the all new comic diary by BigUgly Adam. At the start of the New Year, I made a resolution to keep a comic diary for at least a month, but I will be damned if the thing was so derned addictive that I am still making it four months later. Just got back from SXSW where we in the Shinobu camp got to see lots of old friends, make some new ones, and also alienate lots of people! Hooray!

I’m excited to announce that we’ll be putting out an album by ASPIGA from New Jersey. It’s our friend Kevin’s project, and he is a nice guy, good looking guy.

There’s tons of other stuff on the back-burner if any of us get off of our lazy hineys someday… Oh yeah, and what’s this I hear about the oft-rumored Pteradon/The New Trust split 7″???

This news is late, but OH WELL! C’est la vie, right guys?

Shinobu has a song, a disgusting cover of “California Sun”, on the soundtrack to Glory Boy Days, a movie made by our friend Todd and others. The movie was part of the Slamdance film festival just last week. You can catch the trailer at the website, or check out their myspace page for more info. WORD.

The song can also be found on the “Everyone Living Under A Gun” compilation put out by our damies at THE POLITICAL PARTY. It’s got tons of other sweet bands like Bomb! The Music Industry and Western Front, etc. WORD!!!
