The genius CESAR RUIZ will be touring the east coast USA and Canada in late May 2018. Always soulful, catchy and exciting, whether he’s playing it straightforward or approaching his set from an experimental angle. Cesar is truly one of my favorite musicians and people so I hope you can catch one of his shows!

Coming June 1, 2017 we have For Music Lovers, the new full length from Cesar Ruiz. It’s a pensive, experimental rock & roll record with hints of R&B and 80′s guitar pop, reminiscent of fellow Arizona-bred musicians like iji and Stephen Steinbrink, but uniquely offbeat and exciting. Recorded at The Unknown in Anacortes, WA over the course of three days, For Music Lovers explores themes of spirituality in the mundane, race and class in society, and observation of one’s surroundings. Collaborators on the album include Sean Bonnette (AJJ), Will Murdoch (Mega Bog, iji), Talisha Royer (Electrisad) and a cast of further shredders. The record is available in a special bundle for $10 with a cassette of the whole album, a mini-CD of B-sides, and a zine. MAILORDER HERE!
To celebrate the album’s release Cesar will be performing in his hometown of Phoenix and his current home of Flagstaff:
06/02 Phoenix, AZ @ Trunk Space // Amateur Hour, Doomed to Bloom
06/03 Flagstaff, AZ @ Headspace // Feral Moan, No Big Deal, Austin Jackson

Howdy! I’m excited to announce that our next release will be a 10-inch jammer from ORGANIZED GRIME. OG are some grimey dudes from the Bay Area playing fast, fed-up punk jams. Inspired in part by the late 90′s, beers, and the human condition. The songs are very political and also very funny at the same time. Serious punk that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
If you’d like to pre-order the record, go to the MAILORDER section.
